To all the women,

To all the women: Just because a man likes it, doesn’t mean he respects it. There’s nothing respectable about 1000 likes from a flock of men staring at your butt, breasts, thighs, duck faces and tongue lashes; imagining what they’d do to you in bed. You’re no longer a woman in their eyes, you’re an object, a piece of meat, a vain imagination in the eyes of a luster. You want be sexy and feel beautiful, I get it. But being loved and respected should mean more. Beauty is in modesty and a man won’t love a woman he can’t respect.

A lady never has to tell anyone she’s a lady. Everyone already knows.

God’s Amazing

Isn’t it amazing how we tell God what we want, how He turns it into what we need, and how that then becomes everything we could’ve ever wanted?

God, You are amazing. You are CRAZY amazing. ❤

Naked

Do you know what it’s like to be completely naked in front of someone? To be completely naked is to be fully clothed but still that person is able to see every last part of you. This is good if it’s your spouse, your best friend, or maybe a sibling… but when it’s someone who no longer holds a “title” in your life, it can be a little scary.

There is someone out there who knows every inch of you, inside and out. There is someone who knows what you like and don’t like, what turns you on and turns you off, what pleases you and what doesn’t. It’s dangerous. It’s dangerous because you could spend years away from that person but the second they they say a word to you, the second they touch you, the second they have you alone, it’s all over. You may be able to lie and deny it, but they are inside you- inside your head. They know everything. They know when you’re lying and when you’re not. They know how to get what they want from you. They know how to have their way with you. And there’s nothing you can do about it.

The Book of Jeremiah

I’m going through Jeremiah for the second time and am viewing it very differently. The first time I read it, I was saddened thinking about how God’s own chosen people could so drastically turn away and anger God so much. This time as I read it, I see God’s unfailing and everlasting love. He gives His people chances and opportunities to repent in order for GOD to CHANGE His mind and not destroy them, even though He has seen all that they do. God never wants to hurt us, but He will never share His glory with another. Holiness. There is no sin nor impurity that can stand in the presence of the Most High God. He longs for us to rid ourselves of it, because if we don’t, He will. But He loves us and is patient, giving us time to reconcile with Him. Praise God.

Sing Praise

I find it amazing how David continually wrote psalms and sang praises to the LORD, regardless of his situations. Fleeing for his life, shaking in fear, hiding in a cave as a completely innocent man… yet he still chose to praise and honor the LORD. He still chose to acknowledge His goodness and be thankful for His protection. We really have to take a step back and look at our bad situations differently because we might miss all that God is doing. Even when it seems like He isn’t doing a thing, He is still worthy of our praise.

Happy

I haven’t posted in a while and it’s because I am so happy. 🙂 I made this to release all the negatives (mostly) and now that things are looking up, I find myself not needed to release anything. Nothing wrong with that. 🙂 So, until I write again… au revoir!
